Designed for recreational and commercial applications worldwide, the TRUECharge2 accepts voltages of 90 - 265 Vac, 47-63 Hz which makes traveling abroad and using poor quality power sources no problem The easy-to-read display located on the TRUECharge2 20 A, 40 A and 60 A - 12 V charger can be supplemented with an optional remote panel. Each charger model has built-in protection against surges and spikes on the AC power line.

The TRUECharge2 20 A, 40 A and 60 A are equipped with PARALLEL STACKING. This allows two chargers to work together to combine output current, reaching up to 120 A for large battery banks. This feature requires an optional remote panel (808-8040-01)

Three-stage charging:

Multi-stage charging ensures optimal battery charging with minimal battery consumption by regulating the voltages and current delivered to the batteries in three stages:

Collective: replaces 70-80% of the battery's state of charge at the fastest possible rate

Absorption: replenishes the remaining 20-30% of charge, causing the battery to be fully charged at a slow, safe battery charging rate

Maintenance: voltage is reduced and kept constant to prevent damage and keep the battery fully charged

Power factor correction (PFC)

Less power is needed to charge batteries, allowing greater use of AC to operate other electrical equipment and reducing the likelihood of triggering an overload circuit breaker.
